2. THESE TERMS

By placing an order you agree to these terms. We may update them; the version in force at the time of your order applies to that order. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your statutory rights as a consumer. If any part conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights prevail.

3. WHO CAN BUY FROM US

We sell to both consumers and businesses. Where you buy as a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 apply, and our Returns & Refunds Policy sets out your cancellation rights. Where you buy in the course of a business, statutory consumer cancellation rights do not apply and our trade terms apply instead.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

4. OUR PRODUCTS

Our products are personal protective equipment (PPE). Product images are illustrative and colours may vary by screen.

Protective performance ratings shown on our product pages are the results of testing to the relevant EN standard by an independent notified body, and apply to the specific product and size tested.

It is your responsibility to select PPE appropriate to the hazards present in your workplace and to carry out a suitable risk assessment. We can provide technical data sheets and Declarations of Conformity on request, but we do not provide risk assessment advice and our product information is not a substitute for professional safety advice.

PPE must be used in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product. Gloves are consumable items: inspect before each use and replace when damaged or worn. Washing or modifying a glove may reduce its protective performance and may mean the certification no longer applies.

5. ORDERS

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. An order acknowledgement is not acceptance. We may decline an order, for example where the product is unavailable, where we identify a pricing error, or where we cannot verify your details. If we decline we will tell you and refund any payment taken in full.

6. PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the applicable rate 20%. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you commit to the order.

If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will contact you to ask whether you wish to continue at the correct price or cancel. If we cannot reach you, we will treat the order as cancelled and refund you in full.

7. DELIVERY

See our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Goods remain at our risk until delivered into your physical possession. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.

8. CANCELLATION AND RETURNS

See our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. OUR LIABILITY

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by  our negligence, for fraud, and for breach of your statutory rights in relation to goods.

Where you buy for a business purpose, we have no liability for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of  business opportunity, and our total liability for any order is  limited to the price paid for that order.

10. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event occurs we will contact you  and either extend delivery timescales or, if the delay is substantial, allow you to cancel and receive a full refund.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and product data, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute it without our written permission.

12. YOUR PERSONAL DATA

See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

13. COMPLAINTS

Contact us at info@dhinduk.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 14 days. Consumers can seek free advice from Citizens Advice consumer service on 0808 223 1133 or at citizensadvice.org.uk.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of the part of the UK in which you live. If you are a business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
